Frequently Asked Questions
Based on the calls to our customer service team, these are the most frequently asked questions of BLE exhibitors and contractors currently:
1- How do I register for exhibitor badges?
All exhibitors should have received an email from our registration team via firstname.lastname@example.org with details on how to set-up registration for exhibitor badges. Please note this is NOT the same username and password you will use to access your Exhibitor Listing and Technical Manual. If you have not received this, please email email@example.com and they will help you through the process.
2- How do contractors register for badges?
Registration for contractor badges will go live in early September. All contractors wishing to gain entry to BLE during build-up and breakdown MUST register before coming onsite.
3- Do I need to purchase Public Liability Insurance like in previous years?
UBM provides an indemnity under contract as part of the terms and conditions that Exhibitors are party to. If you have not signed a formal UBM contract you will not be covered by this agreement and no coverage will be available. In this circumstance you must provide a copy of your insurance policy and be insured for Public Liability to a minimum level of £2,000,000 or €2,500,000 or $3,000,000.
Any loss or damage that may occur during the show should immediately be notified to the Organisers and Security on-site. Please note that the Exhibitor contracts do not cover stand contractors and any subsequent sub-contractors, and as such contractors are now required to submit proof that they have adequate insurance cover.
We recommend that contractors erecting complex structures should have a minimum of £5 million public Liability and also must be able to provide proof of Employer Liability insurance. Contractors erecting standard structures should have a minimum of £2 million Public Liability and also must be able to provide proof of Employer Liability insurance. For further information on what constitutes a complex structure, please read the stand fitting regulations in full.
All contractors insurance certificates must be submitted with the stand plans to AbraxysGlobal for a full compliance notice to be issued.
4- How do I get set-up for matchmaking?
When you register as an exhibitor or visitor, you will automatically receive details on how to sign-up for the official Matchmaking Service. If you haven’t received these details, please contact Sector Marketing on firstname.lastname@example.org.
5- Is there an exhibitor party this year?
There will be exhibitor drinks within the Brands & Lifestyle Bar from 5pm -7pm on Tuesday 10th October. Beer, wine and soft drinks will be served along with pizza from Pizza Express. Every exhibitor is entitled to 2 tickets per stand. For anyone that wishes to have more tickets, please contact email@example.com
